Greater shock absorbing grip is achieved by a wider stirrup pad, made from a dual density rubber stirrup tread. Sprenger bow balance stirrups are a patented and unique stirrup iron, featuring the four-link mechanism. These Sprenger stirrups adapt perfectly to the riders movements, thereby softening the impact on cartilage and ligaments. The high quality materials and the ergonomic form of the bow balance stirrups ensures comfort and security for the rider. Sprenger bow balance stirrups offer far more security and safety than traditional stirrups, the rider will effortlessly be able to retain the correct foot position whatever gait or movement the horse performs. The four links in the side of the bow balance allow movement in four directions at the same time also enabling immediate release in case of an emergency. The Sprenger stirrup is the only stirrup in the world which has dual lateral flexibility thereby softening the impact on cartilage and ligaments. One of the biggest benefits is the relief of tension in the hips, knees, ankles and calves which benefits riders that are suffering from or prone to injury or strain
PLEASE NOTE: these stirrups measure a size smaller due to the rubber sides.

Sprenger Bow Balance StirrupsBy: Ann Mansfield on 22 March 2019I enjoy trail riding and endurance riding and I find I have a lot of issues with my right side of my body. I end up really hurting in my right ankle and knee, I’ve had plenty of physiotherapist help me out with this on going problem. I bit the bullet and spent money on the Sprenger Bow Balance Stirrups and all I can say is Wow. I love them, very comfortable to ride in, I feel more balanced and came home after a 16 k ride with no pain. Definitely worth their weight in gold.

Love them!By: Sharon Furlong on 14 September 2017Used them on a trail ride and I usually go to dismount and have sore, tight ankles. Not on this ride and I didn't adjust or move my feets once on the ride. Super product. I don't suffer from any injuries so can't imagine how good these would be for people who have hip, knee or ankle problem.
Spenger Bow Balance StirrupsBy: Dr Elizabeth Baynham on 19 June 2017I have only started riding again recently after breaking my ankle in a fall last December (2016). I have not been able to do very much so far, but already I am finding the stirrups amazingly comfortable, especially compared with my previous peacock irons.

Fantastic StirrupsBy: Martine on 24 July 2013Love these stirrups, even my dressage coach was impressed. Light, flexible, your foot feels more secure but safe at the same time. Easy on your joints as they give. You may need to go up a whole in your leathers though.
