The Buzz-Off range of fly, insect and UV protective products are made from a specially developed light weight fine mesh fabric. This mesh blocks even the smallest of insects and reduce the effects of ultraviolet radiation.

The Buzz-Off range includes the Buzz-Off Full-Neck which provides full protection of the body and neck of the horse. The innovative belly pad ensures that the rug is kept in place at the same time as it protects the belly of the horse.

The Buzz-Off fly mask (sold separately) can be used with the Buzz-Off rugs or on its own and provides excellent protection and is held securely with an elasticated strap.

The overlapping, padded and lined front provides superb comfort and protection
The unique elasticated and detachable belly pad gives protection to the belly of the horse and also helps to stabilise the rug in position

I purchased this for my new horse has he is super sensitive to the summer flies. This worked very well with having the belly cover. Definitely sticking with this for future summers .

Bucas Buzz off fly rug

I decided to splash out and buy the Bucas buzz off fly rug for my horse. I can buy around 4 of his usual rugs for the same price but figured it was worth it for the design and quality. I ordered a 7' as he measures right between 6'9" and 7'. I researched and found advice to go bigger with these rugs. Initially the rug seemed to fit well especially around the neck and chest where it was snug and I thought would be better to avoid rubbing as it wouldn't shift backwards. I couldn't do the browband up as he has a long neck so left that alone. He wore it for one 24hr period and I was horrified to see his poor shoulders have no hair and the skin is begining to become pink. He had a sore and a swelling at the front where the bottom neck fastener does up and rubs at the front of his chest. He also has no hair on his withers. I've never had a rug rub a horse so badly. Im going to try and sell the rug secondhand at a loss. Im so disappointed.

Very high quality rugs that last and fit properly. Light enough for summer but still durable. Love the Velcro neck straps and the chest hook, which makes the rug fit securely without slipping and keeps the neck in place without rubbing the mane or chest. Love that there are no buckles!!!
