I've found these hoods to be the best fitting skinny hoods. Plenty of clearance around eyes and ears. Good width between ears to cover plaited forlock.

I couldn't believe how good this item is, fits my mare like a glove. While it is easily ripped, it's perfect to train the mane to one side.

I recently purchased this product. I was unsure on sizing so i emailed ashbree saddlery and they were so helpful with sizing! I received the hood in the mail a few days later. Fits like a glove! Great quality. I purchased a full size for my 15hh heavy QH.

Ordered this a week before dressage championships - came in 3 days and was a perfect fit for my 16.2 hand gelding (ordered a size full). I was worried it may be loose around his face so could slip over his eyes in the night but was a perfect fit and didn’t slide around at all!

Good quality product with true sizing. Downside I found is the nose is a bit long and the eye holes are too close to the ear holes causing the hood to slide back and rub/cut into horses eyes. Easily fixed by cutting the eye holes longer with scissors.

I have one of those horses that hates to be plaited. Even if they are stitched in, he will rub out a couple over night. But not anymore. This hood fits him like a glove, not too tight or loose, and saves my plaits. It also helps smooth down any fly-aways, ensuring he looks his best in the ring.

Smart well fitting lycra hoods

I was a bit dubious at first as the hood seemed a little tight , but it stayed on and in place and my horse who has a tendency to rub and fiddle with things was very happy with the fit no pulling down over his eyes. This was for two consecutive days and nights at our recent competition - great hood !

Easy on easy off

Great for keeping mane tidy and is easy to put on and off. I really like the idea of the bib as it stops the hood from riding up and keeps it nicely in place.

Excellent quality all round including zip and fittings, great value for money. The fit was accurate as well (I ordered full-size). I have a 15.3hh Holsteiner mare who is of lighter type with a feminine head and I have bought full size before that were way too small - quite inconvenient as we are in a regional area and is inconvenient to change. I also found the eye spacings great and would fit both her and a horse with a heavier head. I have experienced problems with other brands being too wide between the eyes and end up rubbing and irritating. Shipping was quick even though it was Christmas. I would buy again.
