Designed to go inside the Matrix Ergonomic Half Pad, the Matrix Lo-Impact Inserts are most suitable for low impact training and conditioning.

Also recommended for horses with back issues, this low density viscoelastic foam mimics the density of muscle tissue and offers a wide supportive base without restricting or inhibiting muscle movement. It allows expansion of soft tissue, which is required when conditioning and building muscle.

Once the back is well on it's way to developing, switch to the Pro-Impact or Ortho-Impact for higher intensity training or performance.

Because of it's thickness, the Lo-Impact pad does not dissipate heat as rapidly as the Pro-Impact. It is therefore recommended that it's use be confined to low-impact riding where it's cushioning properties are most important.
